SMS Terms and Conditions for Caring Connections LLC

This document outlines the specific Terms of Use and Privacy Policy governing your enrollment and use of the SMS (text messaging) service provided by Caring Connections LLC.

By providing your mobile phone number and opting into our SMS service, you agree to the following terms and acknowledge the associated privacy practices.

These terms cover consent, message content, and opt-out procedures.

Consent & Agreement: You agree to receive recurring informational, service-related, and transactional text messages from Caring Connections LLC to the mobile number provided. Messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message Content: Messages are strictly non-promotional and relate only to the coordination of the home services you have scheduled. This includes: Appointment Confirmations/Reminders, Scheduling Updates, Caregiver Arrival/Departure Notifications, Urgent Alerts, and Billing/Payment Notifications.

Identifying Sender: Every message sent will clearly identify the sender as Caring Connections LLC or an abbreviation thereof.

Message Frequency: Message frequency will vary based on your active service plan and scheduling needs.

Cost & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan. Caring Connections LLC is not responsible for any charges you incur.

How to Opt-Out (STOP): You can opt out of all future messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any text message you receive. You will receive one final text message confirming your unsubscribe request.

Help/Support (HELP): For assistance, reply "HELP" to any message or contact us directly at +1 (630) 326-5110.

Time Restrictions: We adhere to TCPA quiet hours and will not send non-emergency messages before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM in the recipient’s local time zone.

This policy governs the data collected specifically through the texting service and supplements our main Privacy Notice.

1. Information Collected- When you enroll in the SMS Service, we collect and retain the following information:

• Your mobile phone number.
• The opt-in method (e.g., keyword, web form) and the date and time of your consent.
• The content of the messages exchanged and delivery status.

2. Use of Information- The information collected via the SMS Service is used solely for the following purposes:

• Service Delivery: To successfully deliver the informational messages described in the Terms of Use (Section A).
• Compliance: To maintain the required audit and compliance records (TCPA record retention).
• Security: To protect against fraud, unauthorized use, and misuse of the system.

3. Data Sharing Restrictions- We uphold the following strict restrictions regarding your SMS data:

• No Sharing for Marketing: Caring Connections LLC will not share, sell, rent, or lease your mobile phone number or your opt-in consent status to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.
• Operational Disclosure: We may share this information only with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., SMS platform and telecom carriers) necessary for the technical delivery of the messages. These parties are contractually prohibited from using the data for any purpose other than facilitating message transmission on our behalf.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, subpoena, or to enforce our legal rights or protect the safety of the Client or public.

4. Data Security- While no system is completely secure, we take reasonable security measures to protect the information you transmit. You acknowledge that message delivery relies on third-party mobile carriers and platforms, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data during transit over telecommunications networks.
